Split PDF

Extract pages or split a PDF into multiple smaller documents.

Your files stay on your device — nothing is uploaded

Drop a PDF here, or click to browse

Your file is processed locally and never uploaded.

Splitting a PDF shouldn't require typing cryptic page ranges into a text box and hoping you counted right. This tool renders every page as a thumbnail so you can see exactly what you're selecting, then either bundles your pick into a single extracted PDF or breaks each selected page into its own file. Like every tool here, the PDF is parsed and rebuilt with pdf-lib entirely inside your browser tab, running in a web worker so the interface stays responsive even on a few-hundred-page document.

How to use the split pdf tool

  1. 1

    Upload your PDF

Drop a file into the upload area. Every page renders as a thumbnail you can click through.

  2. 2

    Select pages

Click thumbnails to select the pages you want. Use Select all / Select none to move faster.

  3. 3

    Choose an output

Extract your selection as one combined PDF, or split each selected page into its own PDF (downloaded as a ZIP).
